In December 2025, BBS completed the Bellport High School Auditorium Renovation for the South Country School District. The project refreshed a heavily used performance space with a focus on accessibility, functionality, and an improved experience for students, staff, and the community, while respecting the character of the existing auditorium.
Our renovation design included all-new seating with ADA accommodations integrated throughout, new finish flooring, epoxy paint, carpet tile, stair nosing, and base trim. House and stage lighting were fully upgraded, along with comprehensive audio/visual enhancements to support performances and assemblies. The space also received a fresh coat of paint throughout, including the entire house ceiling, walls in and around the acoustical panels, and epoxy finishes beneath the seating areas, further unifying and refreshing the auditorium. Wood handrails were repaired and refinished, completing a thoughtful, student-focused upgrade to this important gathering space.
