Michael B. Messina

Michael is an accomplished professional with over two and a half decades of professional experience across multiple disciplines of design, construction management, and real estate development. Michael’s attention to detail and previous experience in the construction industry has earned him high praises from both sides of the aisle – the clients and the contractors. He has a deep understanding of the project development and design process within the context of constructability and resource availability.
In the public realm, Michael’s professional experience includes over ten years working for several major A/E design and Construction Management firms in the New York Metro region; he has several prominent PK12, library, and emergency service projects in his professional portfolio.
Prior to joining BBS, Michael spent over ten years working for a global nutritional supplement manufacturer and distributor. Most recently, he held a position of a Director of Design and Construction, working directly with corporate executives on both owned and leased buildings throughout the continental United States. He was specifically responsible for large-scale designs and facility development, spanning corporate and office-type projects, conference and call centers, research and development labs, distribution and packaging centers, warehouses, and other facilities.
