Massapequa Park, NY – Nassau BOCES officials, school teachers, local representatives, parents and children of all ages gathered for an eagerly awaited ribbon-cutting ceremony at the site of a new adaptive playground in Massapequa Park. Located in the courtyard of Nassau BOCES’s Carmans Road School, the new play facility was designed specifically for children who have disabilities and also for those who don’t. The new playground features a sensory board, a short track, a hand bike/cycler, climbing dome, omni spinner, swings, we-saw, and other play equipment.
