To Our Valued Clients: Current Situation

In recent weeks we at BBS, along with the rest of the nation, have been closely watching the rapidly developing situation in regard to the spread of coronavirus – COVID-19. The health and safety of our employees, clients, consultants, vendors and all those with whom we come in contact are our biggest concern. We want to take this opportunity to share with you steps that we’ve taken to follow the best practices that are being recommended by health experts, while still providing service to our clients.

Within our firm, we have advised sick employees to stay home, communicated proper handwashing and coughing/sneezing etiquette and have undertaken expanded cleaning and disinfecting of high-touch surfaces. We have encouraged employees to practice social distancing by avoiding large groups, holding as many meetings as possible via conference call and/or utilizing our teleconferencing platforms. In addition, this week we will begin allowing select employees who have the ability to work from home to do so.

As we implement steps to keep our employees and the community safe, we also seek to continue to service our clients as much the current situation allows. Project Managers will be contacting each client to determine what level of access we may have to a building and/or job site to perform essential tasks with regard to field work and monitoring construction progress. We will cooperate fully with safety measures that our clients have put in place for their own workspaces.

As this situation continues to evolve, we will update our policies and practices and keep our clients informed of changes we make along the way. We wish for good health and safety for all during this unprecedented situation.

If you have questions or need assistance, please contact your Project Manager or our office at (631) 475-0349.

Sincerely,

Fred Seeba, PE, LEED AP, NCEES
Managing Partner
