Huntington Station, NY – Town of Huntington officials recently approved additional geothermal and solar projects at the former New York State Armory as part of the on-going efforts to convert and renovate the original building and site for the proposed James D. Conte Community Center. With the funds allocated for both projects, BBS was authorized to proceed with the design.
“We are excited to move forward with a major component of our plan to revitalize Huntington Station and open a recreational facility and meeting space where residents of all ages and backgrounds can come together in a united community spirit,” Supervisor Chad A. Lupinacci said.
