Roslyn, NY – Construction continues on a new athletic field and running track facility at Roslyn High School. The work is scheduled for completion by the start of the 2023/2024 sports season.
Designed by BBS, the project includes demolition, site preparation, and new engineering/re-construction of the existing field and track. The proposed project will include a new running track, new multi-purpose artificial turf field, a long jump/triple jump with sand pits, a high jump area, a pole vault, a steeplechase, new perimeter fencing, a newly designed staircase/pathway to the press box, field sports lighting, and high-resolution security cameras.
These upgrades to the existing sports complex are necessary to keep the Roslyn High School athletic programs and physical education curriculum up-to-date and competitive with the rest of Nassau County school districts, while benefiting extracurricular and local community recreation programs.
