Medford, NY – Patchogue-Medford School District hosted a grand opening of its brand-new Cosmetology Classroom, an exciting addition to the district’s Career and Technical Education (CTE) Program started in 2019. To mark this significant milestone for the students and the community, a ribbon-cutting ceremony took place on September 1, 2023 at the Patchogue-Medford High School.
The new Cosmetology Classroom is a testament to the district’s commitment to providing students with diverse and enriching educational opportunities. This state-of-the-art facility will enable students to explore the world of cosmetology and gain hands-on experience in various beauty and wellness techniques. Through the new program, students will receive comprehensive training in cosmetology, including hair styling, skincare, nail care, and more, under the guidance of experienced instructors. The space features modern equipment, workstations, and a welcoming environment that fosters creativity and skill development.
