John Prentice

AIA, NCARB, Senior Associate

A trusted Senior Architect and Project Manager, John’s ability to manage large, multi-phase projects with critical construction and operational requirements are vital to many of the firm’s public and private sector undertakings. He has been responsible for a day-to-day agenda and project management of various multi-million assignments, including facility feasibility studies, building condition evaluations, planning and budgeting for facility repair and restoration activities, construction document production and quality control, interaction with regulatory and permitting agencies, and oversight of contractor construction activities.

For several years of his career, John served as a code reviewer and expediting consultant. This rare sort of experience with New York State and New York City building codes results in his much deeper understanding than most architects gain in their entire career.  Application of this experience means that code-related issues are quickly recognized, saving potential re-design that may be required by Building Departments down the road.

As part of the Management Team, John oversees the firm’s project production process by coordinating the appropriate staff to ensure schedules are met and quality control is maintained.
