Sandy joined the firm in 2008 as an entry-level architectural designer and having proved her mettle over the years, is entrusted with the management of complex and time-sensitive projects. Sandy’s multifaceted architectural experience encompasses a wide range of public and community facilities including schools and educational buildings, libraries, athletic facilities and municipal structures. Sandy has lent her technical and design experience along with enthusiastic positive attitude to several of the firm’s award-winning projects.  She is respected by her clients and peers for her diligence, thoroughness, and reliability.

Sandy is passionate about energy conservation, sustainability and Net Zero in building design, and is a founding member of BBS Green – an in-house sustainability and recycling initiative.  She played a crucial role in all of the firm’s LEED projects by navigating and directing the process for the project teams.

Exceptionally active in her community and through BBS, the causes dear to Sandy’s heart include the Stony Brook Children’s Hospital’s pediatric recovery and well-being program, fundraising for cure to neurofibromatosis, community food and toy drives, and many other charitable objectives.
