With a pivotal position in the firm’s quality assurance and control process, Joe aims to maximize the integration of the architectural design with engineering requirements of the project to meet the client’s goals. After his joining BBS, Joe was tasked with expanding the firm’s architectural design services and later put in charge of the architectural division. Today, he manages the entire division’s workload, and coordinates its scheduling and staffing requirements with other in-house disciplines.
With over 20 years of experience, Joe is an expert in leading multi-disciplinary teams, providing full architectural services from planning and design through construction administration. His unique ability to manage large, technically complex projects with critical construction, phasing, and operational requirements while fostering a high level of product quality have been crucial to many of the firm’s educational, institutional, and private assignments. Joe’s extensive portfolio includes some of the firm’s most-distinguished commissions in recent years, including the new William J. Lindsay Life Sciences Building for Suffolk County Community College.
